Commitment to Excellence
Hospitals have become the front line of healthcare in our country, creating demands never seen before. Technology, a growing and ever-changing part of healthcare, has pushed the boundaries of how care is provided and the expectations of those receiving care. Providing high quality and cost effective healthcare requires a constant upgrade of our facilities and the technology within the facilities.
In keeping with our commitment to serve our growing communities, HCA Gulf Coast has recently invested $122.5 million in Kingwood Medical Center and West Houston Medical Center, expanding the cardiovascular, surgical, women’s and critical care we provide throughout the region. Another $92 million has been reserved for Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, with plans to build a new 154,470 square-foot patient tower, add state-of-the-art operating rooms, and establish a 30-bed Intensive Care Unit. These accomplishments and plans speak to why HCA Gulf Coast will continue to play a vital role in supporting and enhancing medical care for our communities—now and in the future.
