Tomball, TX - HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball is pleased to announce the appointment of Angelle Rhemann, DNP, APRN, ACNS-BC as chief nursing officer (CNO), effective November 1, 2022. Rhemann previously served as Interim CNO at the hospital.
Rhemann served as ACNO at HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball from 2021 to April 2022 where she excelled in driving quality initiatives, nursing engagement, and nursing retention at the hospital. Before her role at Tomball, Rhemann worked for the Gulf Coast Division office of HCA Houston Healthcare as Division Vice President of Nursing Practice and Operations. In this role, she oversaw the division dialysis director and was instrumental in leading numerous nursing initiatives. Before coming to HCA Houston Healthcare, she held the Education Resource Specialist III position from 2018 - 2019 at Memorial Hermann Katy, where she was responsible for onboarding and professional development for clinical staff. She began her career in 1997 at St. Luke's Medical Center (now CHI St. Luke's Health - Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center Houston) as a staff nurse and left in 2015 as a nurse manager II.

She earned a bachelor of science in nursing, a master of science as an advanced practice nurse in adult health and a doctor of nursing practice from Texas Woman's University. She is a graduate of the HCA ACNO Advanced Leadership Development Program. Rhemann had faculty appointments to Texas Woman's University and the University of Houston as a faculty associate and adjunct clinical faculty, respectively.
