Administrators and colleagues from HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake celebrate the grand opening of HCA Houston ER 24/7 Friendswood with Friendswood Chamber of Commerce and community members on Feb. 7.
Houston, TX – HCA Houston Healthcare is proud to announce it has opened a new freestanding emergency room HCA Houston ER 24/7 Friendswood, a department of HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake.
The new full-service ER is located at 225 E. Parkwood Ave. in Friendswood and provides a full range of emergency services for adults and children.
“We are expanding our scope of services to meet the growing healthcare needs in Friendswood and the surrounding communities,” said Todd Caliva, chief executive officer of HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake. “Area residents can rest assured knowing our emergency care teams stand ready to safely provide the medical attention they need 24 hours a day, seven days a week, now even closer to home.”
At 6,300 sq. ft., HCA Houston ER 24/7 Friendswood is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, seven exam rooms, an on-site laboratory and diagnostic imaging services. Patients in need of hospital admission have direct access to transfer to HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake or one of twelve additional HCA Houston Healthcare hospitals located across the greater Houston area.
HCA Houston ER 24/7 Friendswood is staffed by board-certified physicians, specially trained emergency nurses and support staff, who can treat a wide range of medical conditions from broken bones, chest pain and serious infections.
A grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration was held on February 7 in association with the Friendswood Chamber of Commerce.
