HCA Houston Healthcare announced the completion of the purchase of 11 Houston area SignatureCare Emergency Centers, further securing its position as a leader in providing community healthcare excellence in Houston.
The emergency centers are located in Bellaire, Memorial City, Montrose and Heights (all departments of HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center); Mission Bend, Stafford and Westchase (all departments of HCA Houston Healthcare West); Atascocita and Copperfield (both departments of HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood); Cypress (a department of HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball); and Spring (a department of HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest).
The emergency centers, now named HCA Houston ER 24/7, will continue to provide uninterrupted emergency care to their local communities. Emergency services include the latest medical technology and equipment, a clinical laboratory, cardiac monitoring, overnight observation and telemedicine capabilities.
“We are very pleased to be expanding our emergency services throughout the Greater Houston area,” said Troy Villarreal, HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division president. “These 11 locations will join our existing HCA Houston ER 24/7 network to offer residents greater access to providers and specialty services.”
In addition to being hospital-based emergency departments, HCA Houston Healthcare’s now 26 HCA Houston ER 24/7 care centers have experienced emergency medicine physicians, compassionate support staff and advanced technology necessary to provide quick and convenient adult and pediatric emergency care services.
HCA Houston Healthcare is working closely with colleagues and physicians at the centers to ensure a smooth transition for patients and the community.
