Emergency Care

Emergency care is available 24/7 and HCA Gulf Coast Division acute care hospitals (specialty hospitals exempted). Many of these facilities have earned advanced trauma certifications and are established Chest Pain Centers. And with specialists on-call, our hospitals can handle just about everything that comes through the door.

As part of a commitment to treat patients timely, we publish all ER wait times online, available on any computer or mobile phone. This is true for both our hospitals and our ER centers.

HCA Gulf Coast Division has also established a network or ERs in areas that might be underserved by traditional hospitals. For members of those communities, these facilities literally bring life-saving care right to their own neighborhoods.
