“Megan has demonstrated her ability to lead a hospital to significant service line growth and achievements in patient satisfaction,” said Villarreal. “This promotion to CEO is indicative of the faith we have in her and her abilities, and I know she will be an extremely valuable asset to West Houston Medical Center.”

Before her tenure at Kingwood Medical Center, Marietta worked at HCA Gulf Coast-affiliated Clear Lake Regional Medical Center and The Woman’s Hospital of Texas. She earned a bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and a master of business administration and master of health care administration from the University of Houston. She has served on the Greater East Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce Board, the Greater Lake Houston YMCA Board, and the Montgomery County United Way Board.
