Rio Grande Regional Hospital Welcomes Its First Baby Of 2015!

McAllen, Texas – Rio Grande Regional Hospital and Dr. Alberto Duran helped Victoria and Antonio welcome their daughter, Nereida Espitia into the world at 5:10 a.m. on Thursday, January 01, 2015.  Nereida weighs 6lbs and 11oz and is inches long.  Victoria and Antonio are from Donna and this is their third daughter.  Baby Nereida has two older sisters who are very excited about her grand arrival. 

“I could not believe I went into labor on New Year’s Eve,” said Victoria.  “I was told I would maybe deliver in another week or so. We are excited she is finally here and now we will always have a big party to celebrate her birthday.”
