Dr. Carl Vartian joins HCA Gulf Coast Division as Chief Medical Information Officer

HCA Gulf Coast Division Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Angela A. Shippy, announced that Dr. Carl Vartian has been named the Division’s Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO). In this role, Dr. Vartian will be integral in the clinical information technology initiatives for the Gulf Coast Division and a link between its physicians and the technology solutions it deploys. Dr. Vartian will combine his new position with his current duties as Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at Bayshore Medical Center (BMC) and continue to integrate his expansive knowledge of and expertise in infectious disease.

Jeffery L. Sliwinski joins HCA Gulf Coast Division as Division Chief Financial Officer

HCA Gulf Coast Division President, Maura Walsh, announced that Jeffery L. Sliwinski has been named HCA Gulf Coast Division Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Sliwinski comes to the Gulf Coast Division from HCA affiliated Clear Lake Regional Medical Center and Mainland Medical Center, a campus of Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, where he has served as CFO for the past five years.
